I’m going to be traveling almost continuously from now until August 4th. It’ll be a thing, hopefully fun. I may post some from Netroots Nation and expect I’ll probably be back, but I’m considering an open-ended sabbatical from online politics and don’t plan to announce anything more about it (I know, you were just hanging on this news, anyway.) It’s just not clear to me what my goals are in all this anymore. Even if blogs don’t suck , they’re a medium with structural constraints that have become more apparent over time. Fwiw.

Today, Admiral Fallon resigned his position as head of Centcom . To put this in more common terms, he was the head man for the Iraq war.
