If you read MyDD on a regular basis, you’re probably alread aware of this, but in case you don’t, here goes:  I’m pleased to announce that as part of BlogPac’s 50-State Blog Network project, MN Campaign Report has been given a financial grant to assist with the maintenance and fees of the site! How IS that Holiday Written in English?
From: mncampaignreport.com
Post Date: 2006-12-15 11:45:36

Chanukah?  Hannukah?  Hanaka?  Whatever, as long as you spit when you say it. Hannukah is, due to its approximate coincidence with Christmas on the calendar, one of the most widely-recognized Jewish holidays, but perhaps one of the least well-understood.  It commemorates the Miracle of the Oil - after winning a guerilla war against the Seleucid forces of Antiochus IV, the Macabees and their followers could only find enough unspoiled oil to light the Temple’s eternal fl... more

From: mncampaignreport.com
Post Date: 2006-12-15 04:55:01

"People who work eight hours a day, 52 weeks a year to make less than $11,000 have been ignored for nearly a decade," Walz sa... more

Point-Counterpoint: Dean Johnson for Senate? Part 2
From: mncampaignreport.com
Post Date: 2006-12-14 10:11:29

In our last edition, Joe Bodell and Robin Marty debated the merits of a Dean Johnson Senate run.  You can find the initial installment here, as well as their debate on Al Franken’s potential run here. Marty: Joe, you have a good point when you say that Amy Klobuchar was able to connect with voters all over the state, regardless of where she was from and ask me if I think Johnson has the same kind of charisma to connect with both Minneapolitans and folks in Bemidji?  I can’... more
