Tales From the Back Green by Bill Paterson
Hodder & Stoughton, £12.99
TRUE to the tradition of the great Gerald Wiley, Bill Paterson assumed the name of Tulloch Cameron when he submitted a short story about his early life in Glasgow to BBC Radio Scotland. Some days later the phone rang and there was a BBC producer explaining they had received this terrific short story and they wanted him, the actor Bill Paterson, to read it on air. And so, from that most serendipitous of beginnings, is bo... more
Our .NET products, ReSharper and dotTrace, are being developed as we speak. Yet we do not speak about that enough. It recently came to our attention that our .NET developers are dying to tell you about the goodies they’ve been able to come up with, design and code. They want to share their heartwarming stories of additional application performance analysis tools, new intelligent context actions and ever smarter null reference handling with, well, anyone who’ll listen. So, we’ve decided w... more
About this forum:
Over the past few months, we have had some members offer up some very interesting accounts of their daily travels up and down the interstate. Whether it was an interesting day at the truck stop, a scary day out on some wet/icy roads, or just about anything else that may happen to a driver over the course of a 10 hour day, we felt that there should be a special place to post these stories for all to see.

Guess what, the more products you sell, the more recurring revenue you will have. That is key to the success of your own financial needs. It is definitely not like IT where each project is your income revenue.

Deliver a new financial product to the customer, and you start looking at your current clientele to see who fits the picture. That is the life storey of a financial planner on a day-to-day basis. Your life as a financial planner which would most probably have started by finishing off your diploma of financial planning and thus getting the ps146 qualification, would be trying to piece together who needs what to achieve their financial goal.

Overcoming Fear From: valueforyourlife.com Post Date: 2008-01-09 07:39:05
I recently overcame a fear that had been plaguing me for the last 30 years. Yes….that’s right….the dreaded roller coaster. Now I realize that many of you thrill seekers are thinking, big deal, but I am the person who pictured myself being ejected from the coaster, being catapulted through the air and landing with a big splat into the parking lot below. The rational side of me knew that this was highly unlikely, but the rest of me kept thinking “that’s not how... more
