Lively launched with a bang back in July with talk that it could become a Second Life killer. However limited support, poor uptake not helped by only being available to Windows users, and a general disinterest in the product has seen some speculating about its future for a while.

Even Google is getting into the downsizing spirit. It just announced that it is killing Lively, its browser-baseed virtual worlds that could be embedded into other Websites. Lively launched just last July. The death notice on the site says it will shut down on December 31, so we are adding Lively to the deadpool .

Spotted via MacWorld , you can open a new tab in Safari 3.1 by simply double clicking in an open space in the Safari window. Let me demonstrate:
See the arrow in my picture of the open space near a tab? Double click and you got a new tab. So if you are out of a keyboard, then that is how to do it.

How often do you hear a song in your car and say, hey - I want that in my iTunes music collection? If you are like me, at least once a week.
But how often do you forget to actually download the song after you get to your computer? If you are like me, 99% of the time.
