What is happening? A whole bunch of tech companies, studios and content distributors (notably absent being Apple ) including Best Buy , Cisco , Comcast , Fox , HP , Intel , Lionsgate , Microsoft , NBC Universal , Paramount Pictures , Philips , Sony , Toshiba , VeriSign , and Warner Bros have gotten together for a big Digital Restrictions Management lovein they are calling Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem or DECE for the acronymically inclined.
Why? They figure that the reason why everyone hates having their digital rights restricted is that we just can’t have our rights restricted on any platform that we choose. Well, I guess that is one of the reasons so I take my hat of to them for the progress they are making in understanding their consumers. Unfortunately our friends at the DECE still have a long way to go before you could consider their perspectives in any way reasonable.

Just watched the Channel TenĀ broadcast of Monza.
Vettel made history getting the poll position coming out of qualifying, at that I was shocked…the fact that he continued on to win the race by a very decent margin over his world class competition and considering that Toro Rosso is the old Minardi team I almost fell of my chair ;)
Other solid performances were from Heikki Kovalainen, Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber…too tired to write anymore as it’s almost midnight in...

I remember reading a press release a few years back where HP and Microsoft were tooting their own horns about how enterprise ready MS Server and SQL Server were and how the LSE had used HP, .NET and SQL Server technologies to build out the new TradElect system being implemented.
