Hiya - I have a 2008 server that is single homed, but has an aliased IP address along with its primary one. I really do not want the server to register this aliased IP in DNS< but it keeps doing so. I have cleared the checkbox "register this connection’s address in DNS", but it keeps on doing it... is this something that requires a restart? I came across an article, but it is specifically for 2003, and I don’t know if this applies to 2008 as well? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816592/ Thanks! D
