OK, so is it safe to use a registry cleaner? Or, are they a no-no? Thank you.

ok so im wiping out a computer for a friend and he really wants to back up his current wallpaper however he does not know if its saved anywhere in the pc or where. So i googled and found that searching in "C:Documents and SettingsOwner (or your name)Application DataMicrosoftInternet Explorer" would have the most recent picture that was told to make it a wallpaper in Internet Explorer, however thats not the one....So what im asking is how can I get this wallpaper? There is no need to go low-level. Take a look at System.Environment.GetFolderPath and System.Environment.SpecialFolder
That way you will not lose compatibility with Mac OS X (the function also returns values that make sense on OSX) and you don’t have to worry about the details of grokking the registry.

For the last few hours I’ve been getting that annoying popup about this tojan which I’m sure those who are familiar with it know what I’m talking about.
