Because of global warming, temperatures obviously increase. This has some temporary benefits. For awhile, it will simply mean more time for crops to mature because of a longer growing season. This is especially true of regions where the spring and fall were once quite cool.

Got no plans for Saturday night?
Here’s a great idea. Incredible Reggae band Selective Security will be playing again at the Shipyard Marina on 13th Street from 6pm to 10 or 11pm! It will get down to the mid-40’s, so please dress appropriately. Not sure if they’ll have the heated tent yet. But they’ve said that they will continue with shows into November.

Saw this funny article in The Post yesterday that spoke of the incredible pressure that seems to face recent mothers these days.
It touched on how the social pressure to get involved with other mothers for “play-dates” was strikingly similar and just as uncomfortable as being on the dating scene. So keeping up with the Joneses now includes Jones Jr. as well it seems.
