Last week at the American Library Association Annual Conference I heard Leticia Camancho, a business librarian from BYU, talk about embedding herself in Blackboard as a T.A. in business courses, which then connected her with the ability to use CourseFeed , an application in Facebook, which in turn allowed her to send information directly to students’ Facebook News Feeds!
Wow! I had no idea an application existed that connected Facebook to Learning Management Systems (like Blackboard). I must admit I have not used CourseFeed (which makes this a highly unusual infodoodads post). But I’m highly intrigued. Has anybody out there used it? What are your thoughts? Upsides, downsides, problems, etc?? I’m currently wondering how I’d find out of our school is signed up to use CourseFeed?
Here’s a small blurb from the CourseFeed website, “Students go to class to both socialize and learn. CourseFeed combines actual learning content...

Well, if you have a hankering to customize your invites, and you don’t want your guests to be forced to sign-in and view banner ads then you are going to love crusher ! Crusher has been getting a lot of great press since they launched in December. Check out this AWESOME example I made!!
