Ao que parece, o Google está a preparar-se para permitir o acesso offline ao Google Calendar - a minha fiel agenda que nunca falha - através do Google Gears.
Esta novidade foi "micada" pelo autor do blog Digital Streets , que viu esta funcionalidade activa na sua conta.
Como aquando do IMAP para as contas do Gmail, esta funcionalidade está, ao que parece, a ser disponibilizada a conta gotas.
Para saberem se uma gota vos caiu em cima, vão às opções do Google Calendar e procurem o separador chamado Offline. Se ele estiver presente, parabéns, podem instalar o Google Gears. O problema é que, de acordo com o downloadsquad.com , ainda não é possível guardar os dados offline.

I received a request to review PocketSmith.com and I decided to give it a whirl.  I’ve logged on a few times and looked around the website and I came away with two major themes:  High potential and very beta.
First, the site is very aesthetically pleasing and I found the color schemes agreeable, smooth and functional. I’m assuming that for a website across the globe, it was very responsive as I rolled over to various functions and options.

Beside the RSS icon in the Past archives  pages, you can now find an iCal icon which links to the .ics file corresponding to the particular view (week, month, year, etc.) Click, save, import into Outlook, iCal, or Google Calendar, and have your memories preserved in your trusty calendar, forever.

The coolest thing about exporting in the iCal format is that you can subscribe to it (or share the URL for others to subscribe to) with your calenda...
