Just look at that face. Have you seen such a look of trust despite the pain?
This pit bull has a very gentle nature and is highly adoptable to a family that can handle a pitbull’s need for exercise (though he is far from being able to do much yet). He is getting along very well with other dogs, and all the people he has met so far. He does have three problems, however:

More than 27 lives are in the process of being saved by Saving Shelter Pets. This latest rescue effort includes souls from Washington Wilkes Animal Control, Chattooga, Murray, Pups from the Puppy Promises program, and a large hoarding case. I do a lot of “connection making” for not just dogs and rescues, but other charity ventures as well. Ever the fundraiser, I contemplated once about establishing my own non-profit, in order to either rescue animals myself or to be able to legitimately raise money to give to groups so they could focus on doing their work. I always thought I needed a good amount of seed money, or a rescue should.

Meredith Emerson’s killer, Gary Hilton, plead guilty to her murder, news reports state. But it is not over. The trial, of course, will follow. We do not know when.
