I was browsin the magazines at Barnes and Noble today, and saw the new Fast Company cover that featured Jimmy Wales of Wikipedia. Inside there is a solid article on how he is creating Wikia, a new search engine that will be based on user/community rankings of websites.
Right now, I really think they might be the only company that has a chance to make a dent in the search market. People who aren’t even techy nerds love Wikipedia, which bodes well for their campaign.
