I posted a similar thread on other forums as well. The reason being everybody’s "obsession" with Google Page Rank (PR).
I have been discussing and stressing alot on this so called Google "Page Rank" issue. Below is an extract from "official" Google source (mentioned at the bottom) which should refute mis-conceptions.
Here is what they said:

Page Rank is, of course, irrelevant to your actual SERPs ranking, but is an indicator of the general health of your site (if your rank is increasing) or ill-health (if it is decreasing).
