I despise local television advertisement. It’s not that I don’t want my local businesses to have the opportunity to hawk their wares. It’s just that you rarely ever see a decent local commercial. They are always poor quality. Home, Baby!!! The Geek, who is an absolute genius and happens to be adorable to boot, spent much of his very valuable time and energy working to get us up and running with a wireless network and a dialup server at home, which means that for the first time since we moved, I can get online at home! The Geek has the computer which will be used as a dial-up server which will eventually let me get online at home, but now we’re waiting on the modem we need to make it all work. UPS should be delivering it by Tuesday or so. Now I just have to find the cable that attaches the camera to my laptop so I can post pictures once we do have dial-up working. Whew. I have been without internet access for the past two and a half weeks.
