Fans of the show, however, needn’t worry the change in format will kill the quality: the website assures us it will retain “novel, pedagogic elements and, above all, his [Hugo’s] immense love for the people that embrace us [The Bolivarian Revolution], and let us know that ... more
Morning Topic: "He Shall Take Care that The Laws are Faithfully Executed" — NOT!

Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution includes the order to the President of the United States: …he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed I think it wouldn’t be a stretch to consider this the most basic job of the President. He is called the Chief Executive for a reason. So what has been learned over the past week? Today’s case: When the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in 2007 that the EPA and the federal government had to actually follow the... more

This ad, designed by The Seminal, is running in today’s Washington Post as well as other DC-area newspapers: Blue America and Color Of Change are targeting Steny Hoyer, the architect of the FISA "compromise," calling him out for legalizing wiretapping American citizens. We should never forget that one of the abuses that originally forced Congressional and Judicial oversight of government wiretaps were the illegal eavesdropping on civil rights era leaders like Malcolm X, Martin L... more
