Jon Dee Graham continues to mend at an Austin hospital after a one-car accident on I-35 following his July 25 show at Grand Prairie’s Uptown Theater. The former True Believers singer-guitarist -- and a fine solo artist -- suffered two broken two ribs and a punctured spleen, which was removed in emergency surgery at Brackenridge Hospital. His family says he fell asleep while driving back to Austin.

The American Airlines Center box office hotline says tonight’s Van Halen concert is postponed until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, and that tickets from tonight’s show will be honored.

Emails went out to American Airlines Platinum Club members saying tonight’s Van Halen show has indeed been canceled, although AAC’s marketing department has not confirmed whether Eddie and boys will perform tonight.
