A Blue Crab by Any Other Name..: Not only is the blue crab the official state crustacean , but it’s also seafood delicacy . You can learn about the blue crab at the Maryland Science Center . Try your skill crabbing in different places throughout the state . And of course, there are numerous restaurants where you can try blue crab. Be sure to return to Maryland during Labor Day weekend for the 61st Annual National Hard Crab Derby & Fair held in Crisfield.
Play on the Water: You really can’t visit Maryland without getting on the water in some sort of fashion. You can take a cruise on Chesapeake Bay or learn how to captain your on boat through sailing school. In additional, there are kayaking and canoeing opportunities available as well.
