I am lousy at checking the info@ address. It is 99% spam, and the rest is a pain to get to in any timely way. None of us here have this as our day job, so things don’t alway get the same attention they probably should. That said, if anyone out there should happen to have tips, story ideas, or comments about the site, you should post them. Don’t email them. Just post them. Some people don’t seem to understand community blogging. Here is how it works. You post your own stories. You comment on the stories that interest you. You don’t have to send them to me. Bush-Beauprez Fundraiser Tomorrow
From: squarestate.net
Post Date: 2006-10-03 17:49:35

Bush is coming to town tomorrow to help Both Ways Bob’s campaign that just can’t seem to raise money in this tradionally Republican state. Voting with Bush 98% isn’t the only place where Beauprez finds common ground with.  There’s also those poll numbers. In the last SurveyUSA poll, Beauprez only got 37% from Coloradans, while Bush’s approval rating was at 41%. Get all the info on the event below the fold . This Wednesday, October 4, a... more
BREAKING : Tancredo/Botero Freakshow in CD-6
From: squarestate.net
Post Date: 2006-10-03 14:27:25

In a developing story, the opponents of Bill Winter are putting on a show today. Tomorrow there was a debate scheduled between Bill Winter, Ted Harvey (who was acting as a surrogate for Tom Tancredo), and write-in candidate Juan Botero. Tancredo, who spends time giving free advice to the Vatican and voters anywhere other than in his home district had never planned on showing up for this one, but I have recieved word that he has pulled his puppet out of the debates as well because h... more

From: squarestate.net
Post Date: 2006-10-03 12:27:43

Joel Hefley, who served in Congress for 20 years: Washingtonian magazine dubbed Hefley "most ethical" in its September edition, after Hefley took on former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. So when a guy called the "most ethical man in DC" (and that’s saying a lot ) calls the Republican seeking to replace him "sleazy" , it’s got some weight. Even more sleazy is what Lambo... more
National GOP Abandoning O’Donnell?
From: squarestate.net
Post Date: 2006-10-03 10:09:48

What other way is there to read this from the Washington Post : Republicans say they are in grave danger of losing the seat of former House majority leader Tom DeLay (Tex.), as well as those held by Rep. Robert W. Ney (Ohio) -- who agreed to plead guilty to corruption charges in the investigation into the activities of convicted former lobbyist Jack Abramoff -- and Rep. Don Sherwood (Pa.), who has been embroiled in a scandal over an affair. In addition, Republican... more
