So, I know it’s totally a cliche that every person has “that band” that they claim changed their lives… …but I TOTALLY do. Haha. At the very least they gave me the ability to become friends with the people who made the music I listened to for those all so important in your development teenage years. They were my first favorite band. They saw me grow up as much as I saw them grow and change. I had sleepovers. I had hugs and farewells and hellos. I had my own almost famous moment singalong in Thor, stuck in traffic on the way to NYC. I had drunken tamborine playing on stage. So many more memories. So many stories. So many great songs. Anyway. I saw this video today. And I guess it inspired this entry. Those two men, Luke Garro and Travis Shettel (and you too Stuart!) have made such an impression on me with their kindness, musical talent, and friendship.
