The idea behind this elegant piece of art, The Ornamented Life Laceplate with Drain , is simple: use it as a cover for your drain or as a food colander. Either way, it’s a much prettier alternative to the standard drain. That said, I’m not sure on it’s practicality as a drain cover, as all those grooves and corners just mean more crevices for food germs in the kitchen. I’m really anal about that already. This has got to be one of the oddest things I’ve ever seen. It’s a Copper Egg Steamer : First oddity: egg steamer. Second: copper. Ok. A very pompous egg steamer. Interesting.
