I just heard Lou Dobbs just call today "a remarkable victory for the American People." in his teaser for tonight’s show.
That is perhaps one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard. On a day when the stock market falls 770 points, to call anything that happened today a victory is ludicrous.
Regardless of how you feel about the bailout plan, the defeat should not be seen as a win for the American people. I personally believe something needs to be done, but even if you don’t today is a day of tragic proportions. Today’s bailout bill defeat was not some kind of populist uprising as Lou Dobbs wants us to believe.

Mike Rogers (AL-03) in his latest campaign ad falsely accused Josh Segall of receiving financing dollars from "Hollywood" as well as more than half of his money from out of state donors.
A little bold, especially when Rogers accepts money for his Leadership PAC from a contributor that manufacturers a dangerous poison. We covered this story last month which was overshadowed by the conventions. Unfortunately, this behavior has become typical of Rogers.
Today, Josh Segall show...
