FriendFeed is an online service that aggregates publicly available information created by you and your friends on the web. I’ve signed up for it this morning. FriendFeed learned who my contacts are by pulling my Facebook contacts. I’ve also told it I’m using del.icio.us to publish bookmarks. Few months ago I’ve started looking at integrating www.piworx.com service with facebook. The result was pishare app and a bunch of learnings. It is easy to get started. Then, YMMV . Facebook finally released an extension of profile access controls that let you select which friends see what. As expected , the UI for these privacy controls is based on friends lists, but is somewhat clunky. Nevertheless it is an important step forward.
