Someone sent me a transcript of John McCain’s interview with the Denver Post editorial board from a few days ago.  There are some interesting nuggets inside. Just to mention this financial rescue plan, I prefer to call it as opposed to bailout -- words matter, and I do think it is a rescue. I think it’s a rescue for Main Street. People now are having difficulty securing loans for a car or small businesses, the lines of credits. We all know that. It’s more than anecdotal around the country of just the credit squeeze. People, innocent bystanders are being hit by this implosion, which as we all know is caused by cronyism and excess in Washington and also on Wall Street and it’s Main Street that’s being harmed by it. Yeah, those damn Washington cronies like John McCain!  Damn them! I know about nuclear power, I was once stationed on a nuclear powered aircraft carrier. They never let me close to the reactors but I was on the ship....
