The dust is settling on the 2007-08 football season and the end of season rankings, 2008 preseason polls, and year in review articles are out and our Mountaineers are all over the place. The game was scoreless after the first minute. A few missed shots and a couple of Meg Bulger fouls later they were down 13 - 0 with 15 minutes remaining in the first half and that was all she wrote.  The WVU women’s basketball team got their arses handed to against the Number 1 ranked UCONN Huskies by the final score of 84-48.  Oh well, at least UCONN’s average scoring margin takes a fall to about 42 points a game. Well, not really, but they sure are playing like it. Tonight marks the end of the craziest season ever in the history of college football. I’m sad to see it go. Congratulations to the LSU Tigers for stomping on tOSU BuckNuts. LSU is the first 2 time winner of the BCS Championship. Also, LSU is the first team in the BCS era with two losses to get the National Champion Title. Need I remind everyone there is a little school in WV that went 11-2, but I digress.
