Thanks to Geek IT, the Meizu M8 will finally be sold around December. Geek IT, apparently, has retail outlets in India and that is where the Meizu M8 is going after its China launch. So far, Geek IT only has 18+(?) franchises in three Indian cities. We were kinda expecting Meizu ’s iPhone killer would be needing at least a thousand stores to supply everyone that has been waiting for the phone for over a year.
Though there’s no word on price yet, we expect the M8 to be available in 8Gb and 16Gb versions. Though it has been intially announced that a 2G version will be released before the 3G one, it appears now that Meizu M8 3G will be first-gen.

Can you believe it? It’s been over two years since we first got wind of what would become Meizu’s high-end iPhone clone, the M8 . Okay, we admit to being somewhat dubious at first, and won’t be entirely won over until we get one to play with, but just a few days away from its Chinese release the handset seems to live up to its promises according to IT168’s full review. Meizu mini One M8 Officially an iPhone CloneFrom: pmptoday.com Post Date: 2008-03-04 05:21:56
The M8 phone actually made it to CeBIT and Engadget’s got the first hands-on with the iPhone device. It’s stll in prototype stage, which is very disappointing since it’s taken Meizu this long to present the actual hardware. From the looks of it, the software will take months before it can be finalized. It’s looks more like the iPod Touch clone than an iPhone clone, but it’s definitely on the chunky side of things. The screen is bright and crisp. The three ... more Ainol U80SE Goes Real SlimFrom: pmptoday.com Post Date: 2008-03-05 12:08:12
Ainol’s U80 is the Toshiba Gigabeat ideal image of a PMP . The hardware is everything Toshiba designers would have wanted a PMP to be. It’s small, pretty and thin and the new U80SE is even thinner by .8mm than its predecessor at 8.8mm. The U80SE offers QVGA viewing on a 2.2-inch screen and it will not leave you hanging in terms of video support with almost every extant format playable on this device: RM/RMVB /AVI/FLV/DAT/ASF/MP4/WMV/3GP/MPG. Additional file support includes... more CeBIT: Asus Lamborghini ZX1From: pmptoday.com Post Date: 2008-03-05 03:09:48 Â
Another iPhone Killer might be unleashed and this one is fro Eee P maker Asustek. The real hardware proved to be quite close to the mock up we published a few days ago. It will run Windows Mobile 6.1 and will be a GSM/ EDGE/ HSDPA phone. A 3 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi and video-calling via a secondary VGA camera are the other salient specs. I wonder if the phone as shown in the above photo has yet to undergo further hardware refinements. A study has found out that there is a direct correlation between iPods and crime. The report from the Urban Institute, a think tank in DC, suggests that recent crime waves in the area might have a lot to do with the proliferation of iPods. The writers of the study, John Roman and Aaron Chalfin, notes that iPods are not only pricey they are also status symbols making them very tempting for criminals. Several familiar iPod features like the white ear buds makes them easy to spot and the ... more
