This blog post will show you why it’s important to be methodical when tracking down PC-related problems. Yesterday one of the kid’s PCs decided it wasn’t going to work.  It was totally dead.  Nothing, nada, zip. I disconnected it from all the desk wiring and bought it to the bench when I tested the PSU using an Easy PSU tester   .  The PSU passed the test so I knew that wasn’t the problem.  I then pulled out all the RAM but one module and tried the system.  Nothing.... more
