The Big O has decided that GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin isn’t welcome on her show. Drudge has been playing up apparent controversy in the Oprah Winfrey camp as to whether Palin should be invited on or not. Oprah issued a categorical denial of Drudge’s assertion.
“The item in today’s ‘Drudge Report’ is categorically untrue,” Winfrey said in a written statement provided to ABCNews.com. “There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show.
“At the beginning of the presidential campaign, when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates,” Winfrey wrote.
Oprah has every right to do as she pleases. It’s her ridiculous show. And she is admittedly in the bag for Obama (he was on twice). I just think that such a move alienates a lot of women who appear to be e...

My favorite person to listen to–or read work from–must be Dr. Mehmet Oz . Dr. Oz, a professor of cardiac surgery at Columbia University, is maybe most famous for his role on The Oprah Winfrey Show. He gave a lecture at my school when I was studying to become a health counselor. He tells us stories and gives us tips of how to live a healthy life–and not end up on his surgery table. He doesn’t hold back when talking about all the horrible and dirty things he has seen in... more
The 34 days between Thanksgiving and New Years are considered the Holiday season. A festive time of food, parties, gifts, giving, and all around good cheer. A GREAT time of year.
But they are also the most unproductive time of year for most businesses. Everyone puts off decisions until January, freezes spending, procrastinate, and spend way too much time on ESPN.com or Drudge Report. It’s usually hard to get anything done in the month of December. Folks use up all their remaining vaca... more
The Drudge Report has made the Obama $20,000 ring a household topic. Now, Congress may make deficit-financed $700,000 bathrooms the next kitchen-table issue.

Hey, I just may end up liking this guy afterall! As Tuesday ended and as Hillary took the states of Texas, Ohio, and Rhode Island, a fabulous impartial account was released tonight by the AP - of course doing its duty in reporting:

It’s come down to a game of chicken. Presidents Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Rafael Correa of Ecuador are apparently putting the pressure on Colombian President, Alvaro Uribe, after Uribe (rightfully) authorized a strike 1 mile (2 sites say a mile, MSNBC is saying ”deep”) inside the Ecuadorean border. The strike killed the 2nd in command of FARC, a terrorist rebel group that has terrorized Colombia and taken numerous hostages (including Americans)... more
Reagan’s Wisdom From: gayconservative.org Post Date: 2008-03-01 15:50:50
Steve and I were joking on another post about replacing the Ann Coulter quote to the right with one by Reagan (my suggestion). So I started researching Reagan quotes. It made me nostalgic. His wisdom is timeless, and his words still speak to us today. I decided to post some of his quotes that I found across the net.
