I know the scuttlebutt is that John McCain will be naming Tim Pawlenty as his veep running mate, today, but this is still pretty intriguing (via a commenter at Althouse ):
INTERESTING DEVELOPMENTS: Did this Gulfstream private jet, going from Anchorage, AK to Hook Field Municipal Airport, near Dayton, OH (scene of tomorrow’s Republican VP announcement) carry Governor Palin? Track the flight via Flight Aware .
Hmmmmmm.
Watch the video - note Craig Ferguson’s take that Palin has a “naughty librarian thing” going on. Cute.

Palin - star - power
Promoted from the diaries by Erick
I went to the rally the vote event for Saxby Chambliss this
afternoon. And, again Sarah Palin showed, as she has in every venue
before this one, what charisma and star power are. It may have not
been a record but the thousands of people - young women, at least 3
or 4 beauty queens with their tiaras and sashes, little kids, young
couples with babaies, and the staple of the GA RNC, old people -
came out to see her and her o... more
ABC reports :
In Philadelphia for a National Governors Association meeting Tuesday to address the nation’s floundering financial world, now Vice President-elect Biden and Gov. Palin came together once again.
"I want to thank all of you for being here," Biden told the assembled governors. "And Governor Palin, I want to thank you particularly."

The Doc is In links to Donald Sensing who writes excellently about the positive side of hypocrisy:
The true hypocrite wants others to think better of him/her than is actually justified. Absent this deceit, there is no hypocrisy, just error or human frailty. That’s what the hypocrisy-excuse people don’t understand - or pretend not to understand - about church peop... more
This drafting has taken me completely by surprise!
If nominated, I will not run; if elected I will not serve…I will suspend my campaign! My concession, however, will cost Sen. Obama 20 Million dollars.
If I don’t concede, however, I will consider Ed for my running mate ; he can help me with the techno crowd!
