We’re sexist and many of the choices seem obvious to us, since we are sort of on the periphery of this world.  In other words, we read a lot of blogs and are superficial enough to care what some of the bloggers look like.  Sue us.  Anyway, our money is on tech blogger Sarah Lacey, though their picture doesn’t do her any justice.  Really though, it’s their brains we’re attracted to.  Vote here.

Death Cab and hyperbole
From: feeds.feedburner.com
Post Date: 2008-03-05 06:49:40

So Death Cab For Cutie has a new album coming out soon, titled Narrow Stairs.  And already the marketing push is going full force.  MTV stopped by the studio for a listen and you’ve got to wonder if the writer was paid off by the band.  I’m not necessary questioning James Montgomery’s integrity as a music writer, however, he gets a bit gushy (and only after qualifying for us that he never much cared for the band to begin with…) In short, it’s the album on...

No boots, no gauntlets, no capes, no masks. But then he goes on to say that the costume is necessary for it conveys the story of the superhero themselves. He gets a bi...
A look at Kevin Smith’s next movie

Fanboy favorite Kevin Smith is currently working on what could become his most mainstream hit to date by having Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks star as the title characters in Zack and Miri Make a Porno. But will the word porno become a problem for potential moviegoers? Probably not as we have loads of other reasons to not go see movies in the theaters. Just look at the abysmal returns for Will Ferrell’s latest flick Semi-Pro. Regardless, USA Today gets down and dirty to find out. R...
FCC okays nudity on television

So long as its Alyson Hannigan. You know the girl from Buffy, How I Met Your Mother and of course American Pie. Gotta love The Onion, they always drop a nugget of greatness every now and again. We couldn’t agree more and are still trying to figure out how she got left off of EW’s list of TV Character’s You’d Date. Seriously. How is she not on their for either Willow Rosenberg or Lily Aldrin? ...
