Everyone had something to say this week, from Michael Scott to Amy Poehler to Tom Bergeron, who has a sense of humor about his Emmy hosting gig:
“That’s why I host, because there are very few hosting injuries … unless you count the Emmys.” - Tom Bergeron, Dancing With the Stars
“In describing her beautiful home, Sarah Palin says that when she stands on her porch, she can see the moon. You know what that means — she’s now qualified to be an astronaut.” - Jay Leno, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno
“Last night’s Presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain is being called flat, boring, and uninteresting. As a result, it’s been picked up as a fall series by NBC.” - Conan O’Brien, Late Night With Conan O’Brien
“I hate my mother. What do you think of that?” - Pete, Mad Men
“If it’s not me, I’ll go along with it. If it is me, I’ll burn the camp ...

Welcome to Vichy America
This was not just another election. The last time we had a presidential election, the Left tried to get a brazen traitor elected - namely John Kerry. This new President from the Left is even more than that. Obama was no traitor, because he never was really on our side in the first place. Obama was really a foreign candidate - in spirit, funding, and citizenship.

Mark your calendars people, FOX made two good decisions this week: canceling the boring Do Not Disturb and ordering nine more episodes of mystery sci-fi series Fringe ! Along with the usual initial 13 episodes order it received a few months ago, Fringe’s first season will be of 22 episodes.
The series, starring cutie Dawson’s Creek’s Joshua Jackson, has been doing well in the ratings, which is why the network decided to order a full season.

(Season 2, Episode 1 - Season Premiere)
I’m not usually the person who cares about shows dealing with the filthy, filthy rich. Maybe it was the presence of Peter Krause, or the always reliable Donald Sutherland, or maybe it was just that this show seemed to revel in just how disgustingly rich the Darlings were, but I found myself drawn in last year. While the series only eked out ten episodes due to the writers strike, they managed to pack in so much drama and mystery... more

Life is messy, isn’t it? Especially if you’re one of the doctors at the Oceanside Wellness Group. Nice place for a clinic. Plenty of drama, though.

ABC
(Season 2, Episode 1 - Season Premiere)
It’s a second season premiere, but it’s more like a series premiere. Hell, this show got modest ratings its first time around and then it went off the air for nine months. If it weren’t for all the Emmy buzz, who would even remember it existed. When we last saw the gang, Olive had learned something shocking about Chuck and her Aunt Lily. And Chuck had learned of Ned’s involvement in her father’s death. Af... more
