In case you don’t, Shawn has demonstrated.
He was practicing for his runs at Snowmass this past weekend when he had a bit of an ‘accident’ resulting in that painful looking xray you see above.
At least he looked like a rockstar while he was spectating. Shawn, you make that sling look good.
So, in honor of his surgery on tuesday, and the fact that FKR is going to have to dress him for the next month or so before he can change his own clothes again, I raise my glass to you tonight, Shawn.

Some days you feel it, and some days you don’t. I’ve had a lot of “don’t” days in the last 2-3 weeks on the bike.
But yesterday. . . Yesterday I felt it.
I busted up rocky ridge, up the road, up onion, down little bear, up little elden, down schultz, and back home. The first time my foot touched the ground after I left the house was 3/4 the way up little elden. Total round trip time (door-to-door) was right around 2 hours.

I see a lot of things float around the blogosphere that mostly go unnoticed. However, every now and again, one catches my eye. The latest was a bike being make by some folks in Missoula, Montana dubbed Freeman Transport
