As I stated in Gabe Soria’s Largehearted Boy Book Notes essay for Life Sucks , I found this graphic novel refreshingly different. From the new vampires working minimum wage jobs to the older vampires’ greed, this seemingly simple love story’s attention to detail brings the storyline to life (not surprising since the story was co-written by one of my favorite cartoonists, Jessica Abel).
