The current McCain/Palin campaign angle centers around two main themes. First, the P.R.O. triple threat (Pelosi, Reid, Obama) will be one-sided with authority and therefore either dangerous or at least corrupt (like the triple threat the Republicans enjoyed before being rebuked in 2006 except *maybe* filibuster-proof). I have already voiced my own hope that Obama steers more towards the middle, but given all of my leftist views outside of economics, it won’t crush me if we stays more left t... more
So, here we are in the same place we were before headed down the completly wrong road with people we don’t really care for but are bound at the hip with anyway (isn’t there a song with lyrics along those lines? There should be if there isn’t).
This time, fellow U.S. citizens cut to the chase--Obama’s not a terrorist, he’s a n*gger. Gawd, dammit.

Fired Up From: feeds.dailykos.com Post Date: 2008-11-22 18:30:05
President-elect Obama’s address to the nation today has got me all fired up all over again. In the days immediately following the election, there was a natural sort of waning of intensity as the afterglow of victory receded. And then the distraction of the HRC and Lieberman dramas was disconcerting. All this was taking place in a leadership vacuum created by the combination of George W. Bush’s unwillingness to do anything to help the economy, and by the fact that Barack Obama do... more

The mobile phone privacy breach was investigated and the company apologized to Obama. The President-elect was using a simple voice flip phone without e-mail capabilities.

This is all I’ve got of Romney. I don’t feel like re-editing it so the colors might look wonky. I really have no good excuse for not getting anything impressive at this event, except that there was a big light behind his head that made proper exposure nearly impossible, and... I didn’t try very hard because he is just so profoundly boring I lost interest. How sad is that? Seemingly everything Huckabee did in New Hampshire revolved around a) Chuck Norris and b) food. So here he are Huck and Chuck at a pancake house. Apparently around 400 people were lured to the event by the promise of free pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage—which I rather appreciated, but I was glad I wasn’t vegan. Chuck Norris is much shorter and wimpier in person, though I imagine he’s the sort of person who, if you told him this, would kick you in the shins. I&... more
