This flow chart titled ‘Small Talk With a Web Designer’ comes straight from The Man in Blue in response to Jason Santa Maria’s ‘ Explain Yourself ‘ article on the notion of the title “Graphic Designer” as it applies to web design.
Having been a fan of Jason’s websites before , and seeing his work at Happy Cog (based in both Philadelphia and New York), I’ve come to realize that the internet is a wild and crazy game of six-degrees-of-separation. In addition to just how true the above chart is in everyday conversation, we have intelligent and prominent innovators in the area who know what they’re talking about.
For the record, I also refer to myself mainly as a Graphic Designer, but I will not be able to fix you email problem.
