Well well, I have been knitting, I swear! I just haven’t been updating this blog as much as I would like to be. I’ve put that on my list of things to change.
The nice thing about running my own photography business is that, well, I run my own photography business. I take pictures for people for a living. And not of people either (or very rarely) so that’s a bonus.
Why did I just say all of that? Well, because running this business doesn’t leave me with a lot of other time. If I’m not actually working, I’m thinking about working. Obviously, I need to relax more. But this in turn has taken away from my fun photography time. This is something my lovely friend Gayla warned me about. She’s a smart girl. So I need to balance my time better. Take more photos just for me, and let the work stuff just melt away when I’m not actually working on it.

Oh my, it’s been two weeks since my last post! That just might be the longest I’ve ever gone without blogging. I apologize to all my legions of fans that have been constantly checking this blog, thinking to themselves “why, oh why, hasn’t Kelly updated in forever?”.

It’s been a little quiet around here the past week, I’ve been busy as a bee, what with working and my super-secret project that only MJ and Ariel know about yet. Oh, and Lin knows about it too. The rest of you don’t get to know yet.
So I decided to go with Pomatomus . The yarn dictated this one more than anything, it screamed to be made into this pattern.

Oh my dear twisted flower socks - you are done! They’re so fantastically beautiful. They took a little longer than most socks for me to knit because of the complexity of the pattern, but that’s part of the reason why knitting these was so enjoyable.
To recap:
· I started them on February 24th, and finished them on March 12th. That’s 18 days to knit.
· I used approximately 340 yards of Chameleon Colorworks Bambino in ‘Eggplant’.
