It doesn’t get any geekier than a solar powered necktie (ok it probably does, but for purposes of this post just work with me here…). Forget corporate casual, how about corporate rechargeable? This tie has built in solar panels in the front and a gadget pocket in the rear to hold your phone or iPod or whatever. The solar panels are actually photovoltaic textiles that look much like regular fabric. Which would make this tie business in the front and a party in the back… just like my mullet.

Instead of letting all that runoff water from your drying dishes go down the drain, why not use it to water some herbs? Sweety may look like a sweet little robot alien thing on a platter but he is much more than that. He’s a stress reducer. Yes you can squeeze him and punch him in the face like a normal stress relieving doll, but he can also do so much more. He can calm you with his beautiful graphic patterns and play interactive games where you manipulate his soft body. So much more. No I don’t get it either.

What happens when you combine a chair with a beanbag chair? You get the Sitsack. From James Van Vossel comes this might be comfy/might not chair that takes aspects of both types of chairs and combines them into one bizarre place to plop your butt down. You can lean back like you’re on a beanbag chair yet still have the back support of a normal chair. Seems like a good idea to me. Maybe.
