There was something familiar about this article on the colossal squid . It seems that when they’re young and small, they’re long, lean, and equipped with vicious hooks on their arms, but as they get older and larger, they get shorter, wider, and become slow-moving "giant gelatinous blobs". So now I’m making guest appearances in web comics?
From: feeds.feedburner.com
Post Date: 2007-05-21 11:16:20

So there I am, reading an amusing couple of local comics mocking the conservative media , and my name comes up. And my picture. I must protest, it’s totally inaccurate . From: feeds.feedburner.com
Post Date: 2007-05-21 08:17:39

Since the "Free Kent Hovind" petition has many more signatures (and read the comments ; they’re comparing this con artist to Jesus), I signed the one to lock him away. I really hope, though, that the judic... more
Teach the controversy!
From: feeds.feedburner.com
Post Date: 2007-05-21 07:30:00

David Hone, the mastermind behind the Ask a Biologist site, forwarded this cute cartoon from Fritz at b3ta . I think I could be persuaded to jump on the "Teach the Controversy" bandwagon in this one specific respect. Read the rest of this post... | Read the comments on this post... ... more
