Speed Queen’s new 55-pound slim line drying tumbler gives vended laundries great extra capacity, while taking up far less space than a standard size 50-pound tumbler. Unlike most tumblers of this capacity, the 55-pound slim line fits through a 36-inch doorway, which makes it the perfect replacement dryer. In addition, its size could be an effective way for stores with less square footage to upgrade and add drying capacity in the process.
This new tumbler follows the lead of Speed Queen’s successful T45 stack tumbler. The 55 draws its space-saving cabinet design from the stack and also utilizes its highly efficient axial airflow process. Axial airflow ensures all heated air is utilized in the drying process, coming in contact with laundry at the optimum point in the tumble action.
