Grand Rapids, Michigan Contributor Mark Zimmer, 22, hopes to climb to the highest point in every state over the next five years. He will be sending updates to Cloudveil along the way.
Through his quest, Zimmer is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association; his great-grandmother died from the disease and his grandfather suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s. “I have seen first hand what it can do, and I know how hard it can be for everyone who knows the individual,” Zimmer says. “This is why I choose the Alzheimer’s Association.”
According to Zimmer, the organization is the only national voluntary health organization dedicated to researching the prevention, cures and treatments of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, and providing support and assistance to those affected by the disease and their families.

The competition was fierce and there were a surprising number of entrants, but when the dust settled, Michael H. from Denver smoked the competition with a whopping score of 448 .
