In a blog last week, I discussed Medical Errors. I discussed operating on the wrong body part or the wrong side of the body. In October 2005, Cook was driving his motorcycle when he slammed into Hyundai’s employee, Youn Bum Lee’s disabled vehicle. Six months after the wreck, Cook’s family was finally provided the police report which stated Lee was driving and that investigators believed he had spent the evening drinking with Hyundai officials.
The lawsuit alleges that Hyundai Motor America officials helped Youn Bum Lee leave the country before he could be questioned by police.
