The Red Sox stole Game 1 of the ALCS in Tampa 2-0 . Tropicana Field is a place they had only won 1 game in their previous nine meeting. The Sox took the lead with a Jed Lowrie sac fly, scoring Jason Bay. All these new faces this season in the Sox uniform are contributing to another deep run into the playoffs for the defending champs. The young Rays lineup looked completely overmatched all night, not registering a hit against Dice-K until the 7th inning. The 2nd year Japanese pitcher has proven his worth again for the $50 million posting fee.
Brett Myers wasn’t exactly wonderful on the mound last night, but he certainly was at the plate. The Phillies starter for Game 2 allowed 5 runs over 5 innings, but made up for his mediocre pitching with a 3 for 3 night at the plate, with 2 runs scored, and 3 RBIs. Prior to this postseason, Myers was one of...

Everyone was an ace last week…or so it seems. Five people picked to records of 11-4 marks this week(we are throwing out the Houston v. Baltimore game) meaning that we had to go to points for the first time. The man with the most was mizerle who collects the five points.
