I just saw Robert Kuttner on TV and it reminded me about how so many people who have been wrong about so many things continue to gain high-paying posts and media coverage. Bill Kristol also comes to mind.
Kuttner was the guy who said in the 80’s that we should imitate the Japanese model of corporate welfare just before Japan went into a ten year recession and missed the whole Internet thing.
