I loved, loved, Bird by Bird. I should read it again…

Somewhere in Merlin’s recent logorrhoea about some TV show he mentioned his love for Stephen King’s On Writing . I’ve never read it, but in my back Gmail pages I have an email from Merlin (I know, right?) in which we shared appreciation for books like Art & Fear and Bird by Bird , so I’m thinking it’s worth a shot.
Sarah’s never read it either, so we thought we’d try a tumblr-fied reading group, reblogging our thoughts as we make our ways through it. Starting next week, I think. All and sundry are invited to join.
A cursory glance tells me the book isn’t really divided into chapters (three forewords? Whee!) so I’ll probably just arbitrarily make a post every couple of days, maybe halfway through the CV section and again at the end, after the short “What Writing Is” and “Toolbox” sections, etc. We’ll see. It’s the internet, you have to be ready for anything.
