I read an interesting post called, Napoleon’s Secret To Time Management . The post stated:

His strategy was to stack everything on his desk in a series of six piles. He would take care of the most urgent business immediately, and the rest when people came to his office to bug him about it. The piles moved from right to left every time a new week - and thus a new pile - was started. On the left of his desk was a trash can, and every week all the paper that was in the leftmost pile went straight to the bin.
This is what I believe is the most effective, and productive way to manage time. Nowadays, people are apt to believe that great time management is what gets the most work done. Just go to a nearby bookstore and look for books that say they will supposedly help you manage your tim...

However, most of the time they are consumed by trying to fit in every priority into what little time they have. There will always be deadlines, whether it is imposed by events such as a flight schedule that would leave at a certain time, or by other people like your boss that asks you to do a project and he needs it by the end of the week.

There are three types of goals a blogger can and should set for their blog. This may not be as easy as it sounds but, for long term success, it’s important that bloggers keep focus. With so many things to keep track of to gain authority, you don’t want to lose sight of what your goals are.
Goals won’t be right for every blogger or every blog. Someone, for example, with a personal online diary probably won’t have many long terms goals but to continue to share their own... more

Economists argued that superior products flourish while the shabby ones died out when consumers voted with their dollars. The colleges, nowadays, then, faced with demanding consumers and competition, colleges issue more and more A’s, devaluing the degrees eventually in a sense.
The argument that grades are rising because students are better prepared is not convincing. Students and parents are demanding, and getting what they think of as their money’s worth nowadays.

I remember another day when I was sitting next to my friend. We were within a foot from each other, but still we weren’t talking. We were on the phone.
As much as technology provides us with great convenience, there are other short comings as well. Now the era in which we used to write letters by hand is gone; we use E-mail more than other communicating devices. And coming to think about it, speaking on the phone while standing next to my friend felt so awkward.

Last year I visited Beijing for an Model United Nations (MUN) conference and I just couldn’t hide my disgust. For the opening ceremony, the hosting school borrowed a large portion of a park and all the delegates and officers had a fancy dinner with all the foods that one can see at a hotel buffet . Then our supposed “main speaker” with a Louis Vuitton bag , amid all the people enjoying their fancy meal , came up and talked about the eradication of poverty . She said that a... more
