Balancing work and family is perhaps the most challenging aspect of being a WAHM. When the two worlds bleed together, you have to become very creative, particularly when you are working on a deadline. Those with very young children have even more unique challenges to deal with. If you are a WAHM with a clingy baby to wrangle, try the following tips when you are getting down to the wire. * Sing While You Work – Your baby may be more apt to chill out in his or her own space if you sing while you work. This makes your baby still feel like the center of attention and provides an entertaining show. * Use a Jumparoo / Exersaucer – Can’t trust your baby to stay in one spot while you finish up your work? Sequester him or her to a Jumperoo or Exersaucer. This is a short-term solution, obviously, but it could buy you a good 15 minutes of free hands. I was recently received an email about "The Mr. Men Show." I try to be careful what my kids watch, so I wanted to check it out and see what the buzz was all about. I was pleasantly surprised.
