What happens when 470 MM European’s decide to remove their crappy incandescent light bulbs by 2010. The earth is a better place. Kudos to Australia for setting a great trend and making the World think about the energy they are wasting by using Franklin’s technology. Advanced Lumonics are boasting an incredible new EarthLED EvoLux R LED light bulb that uses a mere 13 Watts of energy, lasts 16 years and costs a whipping hundred bucks per bulb. Sounds expensive until you think about effing gas at $5 per gallon. When you average down the price ot the Advanced Lumonics bulb down to its yearly cost, its really just under $6 per year. So, 1 bulb for 1 gallon of gas. Seems like a fairly easy choice for me. ... more
