What’s a tween?
In case you live in a part of the world where the term tween is not yet part of common vernacular, a tween is that awkward age group when children are no longer little kids, but they have not truly entered the teenage years either. It’s those few years every parent dreads when they’re sweet, innocent children turn into evil, opinionated prepubescents. The horror!

So, my three year old is once again asking if it’s almost Christmas. And, when we say “no”, he wants to know how long it is until Christmas. Is it tomorrow? Two days? 30hundred days? We are always looking for better ways to organize the toys that we have in the house. Earlier in the year, we were given a toy box with bins on top similar to the ones in the Sesame Street 9 Bin Toy Organizer pictured here. It’s been a great help in our boys’ room, but there’s still just too much in general! These are the days that I desperately wish that I wasn’t such a pack-rat, and that I wasn’t passing that trait down to my kids!

I think this skatepark would be a dream come true. You know, if I had a clue how to stay on a skateboard for more than 2 seconds. I was always envious of the kids who could not only stay on the skateboards, but actually make it flip and whatnot without falling and breaking a bone.

I recently took our middle child for his first cleaning and checkup with the dentist. It was FANTASTIC! I know, you hear a lot of horror stories about a kid’s first visit to the dentist. In fact, most of my childhood (and early adulthood) was spent dreading the dentist.
