Amazonで詳しく見る 一年間をかけて12枚の名作を掘り起こした"Electric Soul Classics"も、遂に本作をもって静かにフィナーレを迎えます。12枚の内Two Lone Swordsmenは3枚含まれているので、やはり彼らも実力とは裏腹に今程一般的には売れていなかったのかなと考えられます。自分もTLSの96〜7年頃の作品は持っていなかったので、今回の再発シリーズには大変お世話になりました。さて近年は野暮ったいロカビリーに入り浸りのAndrew Weatherall先生ですが、TLSの初期はクラブ直結のアンダーグラウンドなディープハウスなのでかなりお勧めです。UKの地下、または裏街道を進んできた彼のダークなスピリッツ炸裂の暗く寒い音。光も射さなければ空気の密度も薄い閉ざされた世界の中で淡々とダビーな音が聞こえてくるのですが、いつの間にか闇の中...
