I know I’m supposed to use AutoYast for installs that are going to be exactly the same across numerous PCs. I’m not entirely comfortable with it yet though, and there are times where I don’t have a network setup or I have third party RPM’s installed and configured that I’d like to replicate on other PCs without a ton of scripting.
To me, if I configure one machine the way I like it, and I’m going to build another XX PC’s the same way - it would be real handy to be able to do this with a DVD that I’ve created for the purpose and then customize it either though scripting or manually after the image is copied onto the disk.
What about using something like PartImage?
