A plugin for Internet Explorer (not a Microsoft plugin I should add - it’s made by a company called Aurigma   ) that allows users to upload photos to Facebook and MySpace contains serious security vulnerabilities   which put users at risk   .  To make matters worse, hackers have published detail on how to make use of these vulnerabilities. This is bad news.  There are a lot of MySpace/Facebook users out there and they’re not the most security conscious folks on the web and all this adds up to being one big fat juicy target for hackers. Worried?  You should be.  Fortunately there’s a tool that can help you.  It’s called KillBitGui-Feb08.exe   and it’s produced by SANS security group.  Fire the tool up and put a check mark the check box next to the name and click Set.  That disables the control and you should be safe. If you want to upload photos to Facebook or MySpace then you should consider using another browser.  Alternativ...
